About the Speakers
Susan Sharpe is the Senior Consultant Product Manager for CloudIQ, one of Dell’s newest SaaS offerings which leverages Machine Learning to provide Predictive Analytics, Anomaly Detection, and Proactive Health. Susan has been with EMC, now Dell EMC, for over 18 years and as Product Manager has participated in the delivery of several new products such as Fully Automated Storage Tiering and Unisphere for Dell EMC Unity, one of the first HTML-based element managers for Dell EMC storage systems. Working to define these product features, Susan has developed a passion for addressing customer needs with innovative and differentiated products.
Dr. Fatemeh Azmandian is a Principal Data Scientist at Dell EMC. She received her Masters and PhD from Northeastern University in Computer Engineering, with a focus on machine learning and data mining. During her time at Northeastern, she authored several papers in prestigious conferences and journals in the data mining community, and also gave talks on her extensive work in feature selection, outlier detection, clustering, and workload characterization. In 2012, Dr. Azmandian brought her skills and talent to Dell EMC, where she is currently working on exciting data science projects on the CloudIQ team.
