Join SWE Boston for a panel on finding and negotiating flexibility in the workplace - presented by Raytheon and FlexProfessionals!
Event Overview Society of Women Engineers (SWE), FlexProfessionals and Raytheon are proud to announce an evening dinner and networking event with an informative panel on how to find a job with flexibility or negotiate flexibility into your current job as a professional.
Have you ever wished you had flexibility in your job? Or perhaps you’d like to find a role that has flexibility? During this panel, we’ll explore what is flexibility, share common flex-work models and discuss what are the options for flexibility in different roles. We’ll also share the business case for flexibility, i.e. the “why” of flexibility at work. Whether you’re looking for the ability to work some portion of the week remotely, or any other form of flexibility, panelists will help you understand your options and how to pursue them. Panelists-- including Purvi Booth, Deputy Director, Systems Engineering, Raytheon; Karen Kelly, Project Manager, Office of Work/Life, Harvard University; Jennifer Esty, Principal Technical Training Specialist, Raytheon; and Tamara Maniscalco, Technical Account Manager, X2O Media-- are women who successfully found or negotiated flexible terms in their roles as well as thought-leaders who’ve managed or operationalized flex-work programs.
Join us to hear their stories and talk about “Breaking Down Barriers – Finding and Negotiating Flexibility in Your Career.”
